As a young girl, our family stayed pretty close to home. My first time on an airplane was when I was 16, for a vacation in Hawaii. My first trip abroad or what I classify as my first “real vacation” was with my best friend when I was 21 years old. I remember thinking that although I was very far away from home, the world somehow seemed so small.  I loved that!  I enjoyed experiencing the culture that was so different from mine. From that time on it was clear to me that traveling would be a beloved part of my future. Though working in the corporate world for 25 years where I have been involved in booking travel, meetings and conferences for the companies I’ve worked for, I’ve used as much personal time as possible to travel. I’ve learned how diverse our own country is. Being raised in California, my first time seeing New York City was an amazing experience. Just as amazing, yet vastly different was the South, thePacific Northwest as well as the Mid-West.  I’ve been fortunate enough to experience international travel as well, which I absolutely adore. I’ve enjoyed the lush, green countryside of England, the romance and food of Italy, the exotic sights and sounds of Turkey, the magnificent ruins of Greece, the opulence of the South of France, the breathtaking sights in Spain, and the fun, beauty and hospitality of Mexico.
